Coffee on High: A Gem in Downtown Canal Winchester

Calling all Canal Winchester residents, especially those who (like me!) aren't coffee drinkers – there's a new spot in town that deserves a visit! Nestled right in the heart of downtown, Coffee on High is quickly becoming a favorite hangout.
Now, the name might have you thinking strictly coffee, but fear not fellow tea lovers! They serve a delightful selection of teas alongside their coffee offerings. On my visits, I've enjoyed both the pomegranate oolong and a citrus ginger green tea – both were great.
But the drinks are just the beginning. Coffee on High truly shines with its delicious food options, and vegetarians will be happy to hear they have plenty of satisfying choices! On my first visit, I tried their Veggie Panini – a delightful combination of fresh vegetables and cheese. It was paired perfectly with their broccoli salad, a side that offered a welcome crunch and a burst of flavor. Both were filling and delicious, proving that veggies can be anything but boring.
Let's talk about breakfast – a category near and dear to my heart, especially when it's available all day long. Forget those sad, single-egg breakfast sandwiches you find most places. Coffee on High goes big and bold with their breakfast creations. They feature a delicate egg souffle instead of the usual egg, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth, creamy experience.
My son and I both opted for the breakfast biscuit on my second visit. These are HUGE! As in, easily big enough to share, and we even ended up with leftovers. The table next to us had the biscuits and gravy, and their portion were equally impressive. The staff even mentioned that their salads are known for being large enough to share as well.
Speaking of the staff, they were incredibly friendly and helpful on both of my visits. They were happy to answer questions about the menu and even shared some recommendations (can't wait to try those salads!).
The atmosphere at Coffee on High is warm and inviting. Both times I was there, the place was buzzing with people enjoying their meals and catching up with friends. There are even a couple of comfy armchairs perfect for curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee - or tea!
And for those feeling missing the former Fantasy Cupcake that recently occupied the space, fear not! Coffee on High offers a sweet selection of cookies and baked goods courtesy of Fantasy Cupcake. The perfect way to end a delicious meal!
So, whether you're a coffee or tea drinker, a breakfast lover, or just looking for a great place to relax and socialize or grab a quick lunch, Coffee on High is a must-try. I can't wait to try something new on my next visit!
