What's Going on in the Hocking Hills?

Summer's just around the corner, and you know what that means – our little slice of paradise is about to get even livelier. While the out-of-towners flock to our waterfalls and trails, there's a whole calendar of events waiting to be explored by those who already know the lay of the land.

Mark Your Calendars:

  • Live Music at Hocking Hills Winery (Fridays & Saturdays): Wind down those work weeks with some tunes and vino at the Winery. Local musicians take the stage every Friday and Saturday evening, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring (or, you know, yard work).

  • Hocking House Annual Garden Art Happening (June 29th-30th): Calling all art and nature lovers! This two-day event at the Hocking House lets you stroll through stunning gardens, snag some greenery for your own abode at the plant sale, and marvel at the creativity of local artisans showcasing their sculptures and works.

  • Logan Washboard Arts & Music Festival (June 13th-15th): Get ready to tap your feet and celebrate our Appalachian heritage! This festival boasts traditional music, washboard demonstrations (because, Hocking Hills!), and plenty of local vendors to fuel your festival fun. Head over for a fun-filled Father's Day weekend!

  • Lilyfest (July 12th-14th): Immerse yourself in gardens, art, music, and outdoor education at the premier event of its kind in the Hocking Hills! Lilyfest features hiking trails, a Viking village, a Forrest Friends exhibit for the kids, and much more. It's a free, family-friendly event that's a must-do for anyone who loves the Hocking Hills. Visit http://www.lilyfest.com for more info.

  • Hocking Hills Bigfoot Festival (August 2nd-3rd): Believe it or not? Head to historic downtown Logan for the 3rd annual Hocking Hills Bigfoot Festival! This free, family-friendly event features live music, speakers, art exhibits, a "Squatch Walk," and more. Embrace the mystery and celebrate our quirky local legend!

Beyond the List:

This is just a taste of what's brewing this summer. Keep your eyes peeled for stargazing nights, outdoor theater, historical reenactments, and other exciting events popping up throughout the region.

So, ditch the Netflix queue and get out there! Explore, unwind, and celebrate all that Hocking Hills has to offer this summer.
